Liquid Crystal Matrix Display is fabricated and Hangul is displayed.
Properties of liquid crystal including electrooptic phenomena, transient response, and matrix addressing methods are discussed.
Electrode patterns are designed and transparent electrode and metal electrode are coated on glass substrate using silk screen printing technique. $SiO_2$ is coated on the transparent electrode by evaporation and liquid crystal molecules are aligned by rubbing technique.
Hangul data are stored in EPROMs and Hangul is displayed on the liquid crystal display device using the 3:1 selection method.
Outputs of EPROMs and transient response of the liquid crystal display device are discussed.
