This thesis deals with the problem of determining optimal production sampling plans based on costs and prior distributions.
In this study sampling inspection plans are divided into two parts;production sampling inspection by the producer, and product varification sampling inspection by the consumer or by the producer under the supervision of the consumer to assure the lot quality.
An optimal production sampling procedure for minimizing overall quality costs is given under the assumption that the varification sampling inspection plans are known to the producer.
An example with Poyla prior is also given.
