The ever-increasing mobile and persuasive technologies open new multiple inquiries in behavior change domain beyond simply affecting other’s mindset. However, behavior change is strongly depends on the person directly involved and people are limited to intervene other’s behavior. I believe that people can be actively involved in other’s behavior if there is some room to intervene other and it will lead to changing other’s behavior more effectively. In this paper, I proposed relational intervention model, which helps people to actively intervene other’s behavior. I implemented BeUpright, posture correction application on relational intervention model and investigated design implications through design workshop. As an initial attempt to probe the impact and effectiveness of relational intervention model, I conducted a user study of 18 participants using BeUpright for 2 weeks.
