The CCD Video Camera Interface that provides a interface between the CCD Video Camera and the computer using S-100 microcomputer bus, is designed and constructed.
It can be used to store a frame of visual image into the memory of the microcomputer system. The video output of the CCD Video Camera, which has 100×100 resolution, is digitized into 4-level and written into the memory by DMA (Direct Memory Access) technique.
And a program that controls this interface board and reconstructs the stored image on the TV screen through the Dazzler board and on the paper through the Printronix 300 line matrix printer, is developed to show the performance of the interface board.
