Printer graphics system with a capability of overlapped processing between two processors has been developed. In the procedure of processing from high level graphics command to binary dot pattern, some amount of processing capability has been transferred to another computer implemented in printer.
By doing so, the load of the host computer has been reduced and the throughput is improved up to 100%.
Service routines in the plot processor can be chosen by the console command.
Routines implemented are final dot processing part of the plot package and the RAM testing program and the printer testing program.
Service routines can be easily extended in the ROM. So it is expected that it will become a powerful tool for the graphics jon.
두 Processor 사이의 Overlapped Processing을 할 수 있는 Printer Graphics System을 개발하였다.
High level Graphic Command를 dot pattern이 되도록 Processing하는 과정에서 일부의 수행기능을 Printer에 내장시킨 Computer로 옮겼다.
그럼으로써 Host Computer의 부담이 줄어들고 수행기능이 100% 증진되었다.
Plot Prossor에 있는 Service routine은 Console Command에 의해 선택될 수 있다.
장치된 Routine들은 Plot package 중 최종 dot processing을 하는 부분과 RAM test program과 Printer test program 등이다.
Service Routine은 ROM에 확장될 수 있다. 따라서 이 System은 Graphics를 위한 강력한 도구가 될 것이다.
