The study is concerned with the machining economics problem, taking into account several constraints occurring in the actual operation. Two objectives, production cost per piece and production time per piece, are considered for optimization. The profit rate, as an objective, is also considered for comparison.
Geometric programming technique is applied to the selection of optimum machining conditions in basic turning operations. After converting the primal program into a dual program, the gradient projection method is employed. This method is illustrated through applications of some examples.
This study further investigates the sensitivity of objective functions and machining constraints, time data, and cost data.
몇개의 구속 조건을 가지는 경우의 경제적인 절삭 조건의 선정에 관하여 논하였다. 생산 비용 절감과 생산 시간 단축의 두가지 목적을 두고 geometric programming의 기법을 응용하여 선반 작업에서의 최적 절삭 조건을 선정하였다.
Primal Program을 Dual program으로 변환시킨 뒤 gradient projection 방법을 이용하여 몇가지 예제에 대한 최적해를 구하고, dual변수의 속성으로부터 유익한 정보를 얻을 수 있음을 보였다.
또한 구속 조건이나 time data, cost data의 변화에 따르는 생산비용 및 생산 시간의 목적 함수의 sensitivity에 대하여 논의하였다. 특히 표면 거칠기에 따르는 생산 비용 및 생산 시간을 해석적으로 나타낼 수 있었다.
