The problems this thesis is concerned with are: first, the measurements of technological level and development of Korean electronics industry which has grown by means of transferred technology for past decades: secondly, the aspects of differences in technological level and development of Korean electronics industry created by three major forms of technology transfer.
Also several indicators which represent technological level are discussed and suggested and some considerations in using them are mentioned.
A questionnaire-survey is employed to obtain informations to analyze the above problems.
The results are preliminary, but constitute suggestive evidence which raises serious doubts on the technological development of Korean electronics industry. And three major forms of technology transfer do not differ in technological levels.
Finally, this thesis gives a brief discuss on the implications of the analysis for development strategy of technology for the developing countries.
本 論文은 開發途上國이 技術開發을 하는 過程에서의 問題에 관심을 갖고 우리나라의 技術開發推移 및 技術發展을 檢討한 다음, 우리나라 電子工業을 對象으로 다음의 2가지 問題에 관하여 實證的 分析을 하였다.
첫째, 先進國에서의 技術移轉에 依存하여 發展해 온 우리나라 電子工業의 技術水準 및 技術發展.
둘째, 우리나라 電子工業에 있어서 內國人業體, 合作業體, 外國人業體사이에 技術水準 및 技術發展側面에서 어떠한 差異가 存在하는가 하는 問題.
분석결과 自體技術能力을 培養하기 위한 努力이 별로 없었던 우리나라 電子工業은 技術移轉을 통한 效果的인 技術發展에 실패하여 技術發展이 停滯되고 있음을 發見하였다. 한편 內國人業體, 合作業體, 外國人業體사이에는 技術 準 및 技術發展側面에서 뚜렷한 差異를 發見할 수 없었으나 이것은 우리나라 電子工業이 導入施設의 運營 및 組立生産 等 낮은 技術水準에 머물러 있었기 때문이라 판단된다. 또한 技術市場의 特性, 外國人投資家들의 技術流出기피현상을 고려할 때 技術導入수단으로서의 合作 및 外國人直接投資誘致는 再考되어야 한다. 分析을 위해 사용한 여러가지 技術水準指標는 指標間의 關係를 밝혀 技術水準 表示하는 하나의 綜合指標를 구하는 硏究가 있어야 할 것이다.
