A typical multivariable system in chemical process was constructed and controlled by the digital computer instead of hardware controller which has been used generally.
When the pressure of water to be supplied to the multivariable system is dropped, the control performance is promoted greatly by the adaptive control method using a flowmeter to sense the real value of the flow rate.
