In this thesis an optimal inventory policy in the system with seasonal demand is examined. The objective is to determine the ordering period and quantity which minimize the total cost over a finite planning horizon.
The two case are considered.
First, a continuous review system which uses the method developed by Johnson and Montgomery (8) is considered. Second, a periodic review system which uses the dynamic programming technique developed by Wagner and Whitin (18) is considered.
In the first case, the optimal ordering number, ordering quantity and ordering time are determined in the inventory system when demand function is $a+b\sin 2\pi t$ and the optimal solution is compared with EOQ formula (15).
In second case, dynamic programming technique has the assumption that order is placed only at the beginning of the ordering period. In order to generalize that assumption, it must be increased the stage of dynamic programming considerably. Therefore, a simple procedure is developed for improving the optimal solution obtained by dynamic programming technique without increasing the stage of dynamic programming and a numerical example is exhibited in this thesis.
本 論文은 季節的 需要를 가진 在庫모델을 對象으로 發生費用을 最少化하는 最適在庫政策 卽, 注文時期, 注文量과 注文回數를 어떻게 設定할 것인가에 對한 硏究이다.
本 論文은 크게 다음의 두가지 경우로 區分된다.
첫째로 連續調査시스템으로 Johnson의 알고리즘을 利用하여 실제적인 例를 들어 풀어 보았고,
둘째로 定期調査시스템으로 Wagner 와 Whithin 이 개발한 動的計劃法을 確定的 季節需要에 對해 應用하였다. 둘째의 경우 本 硏究는 注文時期와 注文時期 사이에 一回의 注文을 더 行하므로써 在庫費用이 減少한 量과 注文費用이 增加한 量의 差異만큼 總費用을 節減할 수 있는 方案을 例를 들어 論述하였다.
本 論文의 展開는 于先 需要가 時間的으로 변할 때의 確定的 在庫모델에 대해 上記 두가지 경우로 나누어 各各 說明한 뒤에 定期調査시스템인 경우에 動的計劃法과 그 解를 더 最適化시키는 方法에 對해 論하였고, 끝으로 季節的 需要를 가진 在庫모델의 最適在庫政策을 上記 方法을 應用하여 解析的으로 分析하였다.
