High energy forward and backward scatterings for π N case is understood by Regge poles obtained from S-matrix formalism. Forgoing methods of parametrization are introduced to give practical comparison with experimental data for both cases.
Self-consistent feature of this phenomenological theory are showed by sum rules which are derived from dispersion relation. Especially, several π N parametrizations are tested by the Igi's sum rule and the FESR with the input of low energy data.
Discussions for dual property of scattering amplitudes in the strong interaction which is suggested from the FESR are contributed to this thesis.
S-Matrix 의 가정으로 부터 출발하여 Regge Pole Theory 를 유도 기술 하였으며 High Energy 에서의 Scattering Amplitude (S-channel)를 t 와 u channel Pole 로써 기술 하였다.
이 Amplitude 를 이용하여 forward 와backward 의 πN differential cross section 을 설명 하였다. 여러 실험Data 를 통하여 Parameter 를 정하는 몇가지 방법을 비교 하였다.
또한 위의 이론(Regge Pole Theory) 의 Self Consistency 를 측정하기 위해 여러가지 Sum Rule 을 유도하였고, 몇 가지 Low Energy Data 를 Input 으로 하여, High Energy Regge Pole Theory 에 의한 Parameter 가, 유도한 Sum Rule에 의해 Consistence한가를 검토 하였다. 이러한 Sum Rule 로 부터 자연히 발생하는 Strongly Interacting Particle들간의 Duality 를 설명하고 Duality 를 만족시키는 Model 을 소개 하였다.
