In printed electronics, a conductive ink is mainly made from silver nanoparticles which have high price. Typical alternative material is copper nanoparticles. However, the copper nanoparticles are easily oxidized in ambient condition. A method preventing the copper nanoparticles to be oxi-dized is crucial for the printed electronics. In this thesis, Cu-Ag core-shell nanoparticles were syn-thesized by thermal decomposition, and Galvanic displacement methods. The core-shell structure was confirmed by EDS line scanning, and elemental mapping. The oxidation resistivity of the na-noparticles was investigated with XRD, and XPS analysis. The synthesized Cu-Ag core-shell nano-particles shows superior oxidation resistivity compared to Cu nanoparticles. Finally, we formulated a conductive ink using the synthesized nanoparticles, and coated it on glass substrates. After sin-tering process, resistivity was measured best at 12.0 μΩocm in 350 °C.
