It is mandatory that global citizen master languages and learn language skills and have communicate ability since language has become one of the crucial elements most people need to fulfill their affluent life in becoming global citizen in the 21st Century. Modern people is important to communicate with foreigners. The world are more interested in Korea everything than before and interested in things of Korea. The hugely popular Korean culture spreads abroad not only to Japan and Southeast Asian countries but also even into Latin America. With the boom of K-Pop and other Korean cultural trends, demand for Korean language is likely to continue increasing. Hallyu(Korean Wave) is clearly finding wider acceptance. Hallyu(Korean Wave) can also be an opportunity to influence the deep culture of those countries. So more people will be interested in South Korea. It is a hard grind to learn a Korean language.
At this time, korean test is important for Korean popular and Is required media contents for effective dissemination. This article explores the development of media contents for expansion of Test of Proficiency In Korea(TOPIK). The study used the survey to help analyze teachers of Korean and the profession. The study presented the need and necessity of media content development of the construction of education infrastructure. The study concluded that must strengthen the publicity of language test and require construction of online testing infrastructure
21세기는 국제화, 세계화의 영향으로 자국어가 아닌 외국어 능력의 중요성을 키우고 결국 외국인과 의사소통을 할 수 있는 외국어 능력은 절대적으로 중요하다. IT의 발달과 정보화와 지식 기반 사회의 진전으로 결국 언어 능력을 필연적으로 요구하게 된다. 문화와 소프트, IT 파워의 시대는 교류의 확대가 자연스럽고 대규모로 나타나고 자신에게 도움이 되는 문화의 향유를 위하여 국경을 초월하여 전 세계를 대상으로 하는 만큼 외국어의 중요성이 대두되고 있다.
특히 한국은 역사상 경제발전 모범을 보이고 있으며 외국인의 한국에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며 한류 열풍으로 인해 한국과 한국어에 대한 세계인의 관심은 앞으로도 계속해서 증가할 것으로 보인다. 한국어를 배우고 활용하는 수요는 폭증하고 있으나 수요자 입장에서 볼 때 한국어를 배울 수 있는 환경이 그리 좋은 편이 아니다.
이러한 시점에서 한국어 보급을 위해 한국어능력시험의 보급이 중요하며 보다 활성화된 보급을 위해 다양한 콘텐츠가 필요하다는 결론을 내리게 됐다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 보급을 위한 한국어능력시험 활성화를 연구하였다. 한국어능력시험을 가르치고 있는 계층에겐 설문 분석을 통해 한국어능력시험 보급 활성화를 위한 미디어콘텐츠 발전방안을 제시했다.
