The curing process for carbon fiber/epoxy composites was theoretically modeled through experimental measurements and suitable assumptions and computer simulations of the curing process were performed based on the model. In computer simulation, the effects of the curing parameters such as temperature, autoclave chamber pressure, vacuum pressure, resin viscosity and specimen thickness were investigated. Using the simulation results, the optimum cure cycle was discussed.
