This paper presents the active vibration control of single D.O.F. suspension system under the external random disturbance. The filter coefficients of controller and tuned automatically to adapt the changes over the vibration system using filtered-X LMS algorithm even though the system including the sensors and actuators is modelled previously in the form of FIR filter with the proper length. The characteristics of this algorithm such as convergency and stability are tested through the simulation. The variable experiments are executed on the single D.O.F. suspension system ,giving variations to the conditions-frequency bands of disturbances, sampling rates, filter lengths and the coefficient of convergence, respectively. Experimental results present the reduction of the vibration of specified mode.
