The purpose of this study is to investigate the critical failure factors of IT Firm with platform leadership and risk management. Because of the lack of theoretical foundation for this topic, I adopted relevant theory and case study analyses. To analyze of the failure factor, I researched the risk factors which are based on the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission principle and I take the principles of platform leadership 4 levers from Gawer and Cusumano. Representative failure firms I adoped are Nokia, Motorora, Blackberry, Sony, Kodak, Nintendo, and Yahoo.
본 연구의 목적은 플랫폼리더십과 리스크관리 분석을 통해 IT 기업 전략의 실패사례를 연구한 것이다. 본 연구 주제에 해당하는 실패사례 연구방법은 명확히 정의가 되어있지 않다. 따라서, 본연구는 관련 이론과 사례분석을 통해 진행되었다. 실패요인 분석을 하기 위해, Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission의 이론과 Gawer and Cusumano의 플랫폼리더십 성공요인 4요소를 활용하였다. 실패전략 관련 사례분석 기업은 노키아, 모토로라, 블랙베리, 소니, 코닥, 닌텐도, 야후로 선정하였다.
