Crowdfunding is a new method of fundraising, collecting investment or contribution from various anonymous people by opening a project with target amount and fixed time limit to the public, usually via internet platform. Up to date study regarding impact of information on other people’s contribution(social information) towards additional contributor inflow shows two opposite results - 1) positive effect as other people’s contribution information being a quality signal, 2) negative effect as such information causes diffusion of responsibility. From this study, we revealed how efficacies are differently presented by rule of the project and popularity in crowdfunding situation - an online based fund-raising. As a result, there was more negative effect when perceived risk is low, due to the existence of money-back guarantee. Also deadline effect (people are more crowded when project deadline comes closer) was higher when perceived risk is low, due to the existence of money-back guarantee or higher popularity.
