In this thesis, we consider a bulk service M/G(a,∞)/1 queue. Suppose that n customers are in the queue When a service is completed. If n is less than a, the server becomes idle until the queue length reaches a. If n is larger than a, the server takes a batch of size n for service. We derive the relations of probabilities of queue length using supplementary variable technique and obtain the result of the cycle analysis. Furthermore, we find obtain optimal value a that minimizes the objective function we set up. Numerical examples are also presented.
본 학위 논문에서는 a 명 이상의 고객을 동시에 처리하는 집단 서비스 정책을 갖는 M/G(a, ∞)/1 대기행렬 시스템의 비용 분석에 대한 연구를 시행하였다. 이 연구를 통해 부가 변수법을 이용하여 대기 고객 수 분포에 대한 식을 구할 수 있었고 추가적으로 사이클 분석을 하였다. 비용 분석을 하기 위하여 목적 비용 함수를 제안하였고, 그 결과들을 이용하여 제안한 목적 비용 함수를 최소화 시키는 최적 a 값을 구할 수 있음을 수치 예제들을 통해 보였다.
