Social Network Game based on Social Network Service platform began with Facebook and now expands the area with the increase in popularity of SNS and smart device. This research aims to examine the reasons for continuing to play and purchasing items in the social network game. To do that, a research model was constructed and verified by integrating TAM, UTAUT and PAM as a theoretical basis. The results of the research indicate that performance expectancy, perceived enjoyment, social influence and satisfaction have positive effects on intention to continue to play and effort expectancy has negative effect on intention to continue to play. Also, intention to continue to play has a positive effect on intention to purchase items but satisfaction has a negative effect on intention to purchase items. Heavy/Light user category and gender moderate the influence of social influence to intention to continue to play.
소셜 네트워크 게임은 소셜 네트워크 서비스 플랫폼 기반 위에서 작동하는 게임으로 Facebook의 웹 기반에서 시작되어 소셜 네트워크 서비스와 스마트 기기의 광범위한 보편화와 더불어 빠르게 확산되고 있는 중이다. 이런 소셜 네트워크 게임에 대해서는 그 특성, 몰입, 동기 관련 연구는 많이 이루어졌지만 비즈니스적 함의를 지닌 지속적 이용과 아이템 구매의 요인에 대한 연구는 아직 미진하다. 본 연구는 모바일 기반의 소셜 네트워크 게임에 대해 기술 수용 모형(TAM) 확장 모형, 기술 수용 및 이용 통합 이론(UTAUT), 후기 수용 모형(PAM)을 이론적 근거로 연구 모형을 구성하여 지속적 이용과 아이템 구매 요인에 대해 고찰해 보고자 한다. 연구 결과 지속적 이용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성과 기대, 노력 기대, 지각된 즐거움, 사회적 영향으로 확인되었고, 이 중 노력 기대는 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 아이템 구매 의도의 경우 지속적 이용 의도는 긍정적인 영향을 만족은 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이용자 특성 관련 변수 헤비/라이트 유저, 성별은 사회적 영향과 지속적 이용 의도의 관계에서 조절 효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.
