Surveillance system has been on the increase in recent years due to cheapening of cameras and due to increase in global hostile activities such as terrorist attacks.
Multi-view surveillance system has been on the increase due to cheapening of cameras and due to increase in hostile activities such as terrorist attack. Although there has been much research into multi-view surveillance in itself, there hasn’t been much attention to summarizing these data which could assist security personnel by providing frames of security interest such as certain gestures, action or event.
A summarizing system for multi-view surveillance environment is implemented. Multi-view gives rise to problem of labeling labels across camera. Labeling for single camera was achieved by utilizing motion information of detected objects. And color information was used to consistently label an object across camera with an assumption that color information of target object was held beforehand.
Summarizing using color information over captured dataset over five cameras proved to be successful. The dataset was of challenging one with varying luminance across cameras which made segmentation difficult and consequently labeling.
최근 테러 공격 등 전세계적으로 사회적 위험 요인은 늘어나고, 카메라 가격은 저가화 됨에 따라 비디오 감시 시스템은 증가 추세에 있다. 특히 다중 시점 감시 시스템은 넓은 영역 감시를 위하여 많이 사용되고 있다. 그렇지만 다중 시점 감시 시스템을 통해 얻어지는 방대한 자료로 인하여, 필요하고 유용한 정보를 추출하는 과정에 너무 많은 시간을 필요로 한다. 따라서, 사용자가 효율적인 안전 관리를 위하여는 특수한 제스쳐나 동작, 상황이 있는 프레임을 찾아주는 자료 요약 시스템이 필요하다.
본 논문은 다중 시점 감시 환경의 요약 시스템을 제시한다. 다중 시점 시스템에서는 카메라간의 라벨을 정리해야 하는 문제가 있다. 이를 위하여 단일 카메라 단위에서 감시하는 과정에는 감지된 물체의 이동 정보를 활용하여 라벨을 설정하였다. 감시 시간 전반에 걸쳐 물체의 칼라가 바뀌지 않는다는 상황을 전제로, 물체의 칼라 정보를 이용하여 다중 카메라 통합형 라벨을 결정하였다.
제안된 다중 감시 비디오 요약 시스템은 성공적 요약을 수행하였다. 요약 시스템 실험은 단일 대상 물체를 다중 카메라에서 요약하는 내용을 우선적으로 검증하였고, 다중 물체에 대해서도 검증하였다. 본 논문의 시스템은 사용자가 지정한 물체가 나타난 모든 프레임을 요약하는 것으로, 대규모 카메라 네트워크에 적용 가능성을 제시하였다.
