Electromagnetic fields excited by an electric dipole source inside a spherical PEC cavity are investigated. In order to obtain field representation, three-dimensional free space Green’s function and source-free solution of Helmholtz equation are used. By applying boundary condition on the inner surface of the cavity, a set of simultaneous equations is set up. Using orthogonality of exponential function and Legendre function, undetermined coefficients of the source-free solution are derived rigorously.
구형 도체 공동 내의 쌍극자 전류에 의한 전자장을 보였다. 필드 표현을 위해 3차원 그린함수와 헬름홀츠 방정식의 해를 이용하였다. 동공의 안쪽 표면에 대해 경계조건을 적용하여 연립방정식을 얻는다. 지수함수와 르장드르함수의 직교성을 이용하여 모드표현식의 미정계수를 엄밀히 도출하였다.
