The ontology is expected to solve many language problems in text mining, translation, and web search. It can be constructed by some experts in small scale, but this is not scalable solution. Query log analysis (QLA) is alternative solution to construct ontology[11]. Through mining query logs, a basic ontology may be constructed automatically. However, QLA has some problems: not public, hard to evaluate, ambiguous to understand context. To solve those problems, we propose to use tagging information to construct ontology automatically. Tagging information overcome QLA`s problems and also has QLA`s strong points. In this paper, we quantitatively analyze tagging information from Allblog, which is the most popular metablog site in Korea, to construct the ontology. Specifically, we investigate user behavior in tagging and find tagging pattern.
