In this thesis, we shall give an example illustrating the Shimura-Taniyama theorem for the special curve $y^2=x^3-x$ so-called a congruent number curve. For this we introduce modular forms, Hecke operators and new forms with respect to $Gamma_{0(N)}$. Moreover we shall introduce Hecke L-functions and Hasse-Weil L-functions of elliptic curves, and state the Shimura-Taniyama theorem.
본 논문에서는 합동수와 관련된 타원곡선 $y^2=x^3-x$의 경우에 대하여 Shimura-Taniyama 의 정리를 확인하는 것을 목표로 한다. 그리하여 $Gamma_0(N)$과 관련된 보형형식, Hecke연산, 새로운 형식(New form)을 소개한다. 또한 L-함수와 타원곡선으로부터 정의되는 Hasse-Weil L-함수를 다루고, Shimura-Taniyama 의 정리를 명시한다.
