This paper is concerned with the proof of so called Bramble Hilbert Lemma. We propose that Poincare' s inequality in [3] implies one of results of Morrey which is used importantly in the proof. In this point of view, we recognize that to remove the average term in Poincare's inequality fulfills a crucial rule in the proof of Bramble-Hilbert Lemma. Another result of Morrey accomplishes it by adding some polynomial of degree k-1 less one than the degree of the Sobolev space in the outset. So, the condition annihilating the set of polynomials $P_{k-1}$ of degree k-1 is needed in Bramble-Hilbert Lemma.
유한 요소 공간의 근사 성질은 자주 Bramble Hilbert Lemma 를 사용하여 유도된다. 이 논문에서는 Bramble Hilbert Lemma의 원래 논문을 참조하여 그 Bramble Hilbert Lemma의 유도과정을 확인하여 보고, 그것이 Poincare inequality 와 아주 많은 관련이 있음을 보였다. Bramble Hilbert Lemma에서 한 차수 작은 다항식들이 모두 영값을 갖아야 하다는 조건도 Poincare inequality 에서 평균값 항을 제거하기 위해 필요했음을 우리는 확인해 보았다.
