This thesis researched the various roles of IFCs as the economic development stages and made recommendations for problems discovered through applying to Korean non-life insurance industry.
Korea non-life insurance industry has the world 11th market share. After late 90's financial crisis, non-life insurance industry recovered its previous market size and global market position but its growth rate is decreasing when it compared to previous years. For firm's growth, firm's context is getting more significant and IFCs roles are important to improve films context for competitive advantage. IFCs are helping for films to concentrate on their essential activities and prevent firms to disperse their capability.
IFCs roles are changing as the industry development stages and IFCs roles are inducing the productivity and innovation capability through its various activities. Finally, IFCs are helping firms and industries to get continuous growth as a consequence of increasing industry competitiveness.
