This thesis presents a method for enhancing the visual quality and the capacity of BPCS steganography for image. The conventional BPCS steganography embeds information in the spatial domain according to bit plane complexity. Proposed method has three special al-gorithms for enhancing the conventional BPCS steganography which are adapting message blocks to the cover blocks, selecting the thresholds dependently on bit plane level and em-bedding capacity, and adding the control data with the view of communication channel. Experimental results demonstrate that the new method enhances the visual quality and the capacity compare to conventional BPCS steganography.
이 논문은 대용량의 커패시티를 가지면서도 고화질을 유지하는 이미지를 위한 향상된 BPCS 스테가노그래피 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 BPCS 스테가노그래피는 공간 영역에 비트 단면의 복잡도에 따라 정보를 넣는다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 메세지 블럭을 커버 블럭에 맞추는 부분과 비트 단면의 레벨과 커패시티에 따라 임계값을 정하는 부분, 그리고 전송 채널에 제어 데이터를 넣는 부분에 새로운 알고리즘을 사용하여 기존의 BPCS 스테가노그래피보다 향상된 결과를 보여준다. 실험 결과를 통하여 이 방법이 기존의 BPCS 스테가노그래피에 비하여 더 나은 화질과 커패시티를 갖는 것을 보인다.
