In this study, the pilot control and dynamic characteristics of helicopter have been investigated at various flight conditions. Flight conditions are divided into four types, which are climbing, descending, level flight and level flight deceleration. The climbing and descending characteristics of helicopter are investigated in the view of pilot. The numerical results obtained using the comprehensive rotorcraft analysis code CAMRAD II are compared with the experimental results measured from Froude-scale whirl tower and wind tunnel test performed in KARI to verify the analysis model. Four bladed NRSB-II are used to investigate the helicopter dynamic characteristics. Each blade is assumed to be an elastic beam and fuselage to be a rigid body. The collective and cyclic pitch angles have been computed for various flight conditions using the uniform inflow model. The vibration levels on the pilot seat are also examined in the various flight conditions.
