We performed the sensitivity calibration of the Far-Ultraviolet IMaging Spectrograph (FIMS) for its flight. The sensitivity calibration is defined by a comparison between the standard spectra of a star and the observed spectra of the star. To do it, FIMS observed one white dwarf star G191B2B and two O-type stars Alpha-Cam, HD93521 from 2003 November to 2004 May. Then we used the Hopkins Ultraviolet Telescope (HUT) data as the standard spectra of them and calculated the effective area of FIMS detector vs. wavelength for each band.
2004년 현재 위성궤도상에서 임무수행중인 과학기술위성1호의 주탑재체인 원자외선분광기(FIMS)의 감도 조절(Sensitivity Calibration)을 하였다. 이를 위해 2003년 11월과 2004년 5월 사이에 백색왜성 1개와 O형 별 2개를 관측하였으며, 감도 조절이 잘 되어있다고 알려져 있는 HUT(Hopkins Ultraviolet Telescope) 데이터와 비교하여, 감도의 절대적인 수치를 나타내는 유효면적(effective area) 값을 FIMS의 전 파장영역에 대하여 계산하였다.
