An ad hoc network is a communication network without infrastructure, like base station. Since each can communicate with other stations without network infrastructure, many applications can be found in sensor networks, military networks, etc.
MIL-STD-188-220C standard has been standardized for ad hoc communications in military networks. In this thesis, we develop a simulator representing the physical layer as well as the data link layer of the MIL-STD-188-220C protocol and evaluate the performance of the protocol in terms of success probability and delay, in error-free and error-prone channel environments
