A market is efficient with respect to a particular set of information if it is impossible to make abnormal profits by using this set of information to formulate buying and selling decisions. This thesis examines the efficiency of the Korea stock index futures markets. To examine the efficiency of the KOSPI 200 futures and the KOSDAQ 50 futures, this thesis uses some tests such as unit root tests, autocorrelation tests, variance ratio tests and returns tests.
