In this thesis, a real-time feedrate optimal adjustment system estimating optimal spindle current of given cutting conditions and adjusting feedrate to track optimal spindle current was proposed.
From experiments, the relationship between the spindle current and MRR was proposed. The feedrate adjustment algorithm using the relationship between spindle current and feedrate was developed for adjusting feedrate.
In order to test real-time feedrate optimal adjustment system, cutting experiments were executed under various cutting conditions. The result showed that the developed system had good applicability.
