Business model is one of the key success factors in the Internet business. Business model innovation is essential for competition and wealth creation. This thesis attempts to implement Internet business strategies for telecommunications companies, especially for wireless telecommunication operators. First, based on the existing literature from different perspectives about the ways of classifying Internet business models, this thesis adopts a framework by Don Tapscott's 5 models - Agora, Aggregation, Value Chain, Alliance and Distributive Network. Second, according to the framework, this thesis categorizes Internet businesses of the domestic and overseas telecommunication operators into the 5 models. Third, it applies the theoretical and practical implications to one of the Korean wireless telecommunication operators. Finally, the thesis suggests how to implement Internet business strategies for this company.
