The market of Electronic Commerce (EC) is rapidly brought up on account of the growth of Internet and information technology. The goods transacted in EC are many kinds of industrial products. The main products of a primary industry as agriculture, fisheries, livestock farming and forestry are hardly transacted in EC because of the problems of freshness, reproduction cycle, and so on. We suggest the system that supports supplier relationship management (SRM) & customer relationship management (CRM) based on data mining in agricultural products EC.
The proposed system is composed of three parts: the prediction of production amount, consumption amount and the quantity of goods transported. Through four steps of the clustering of agricultural products by regional groups, the analysis of price sensitivity, the recommendation of agricultural products, and the production planning, production amount is predicted. And, consumption amount is predicted through the clustering of customers, classification, and link analysis. The quantity of goods transported is predicted by combining two predicted values. This system enables agricultural products to flourish in EC.
