In this thesis, we focus on time slot allocation methods and power control algorithms for Hybrid CDMA/TDMA. The objective is to minimize the time to transmit data using proper partition schemes based on the power control and to design a power control algorithm with fast convergence. A good power control algorithm should quickly and distributively converge to the state where the system supports as many users as possible. To attain our objective, the power control performance is mathematically analyzed and we propose allocation method. In addition, we show conventional algorithms do not behave like the practical system. Thus, based on the new algorithm of which behavior is similar to the practical system, we propose a power control algorithm with fast convergence speed.
