Many enterprises have used Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Information System implementation as a means for improving performance. But, in fact many enterprises have failed in BPR and Information system implementation projects. So many materials and efforts were spent without intended results. This results from misunderstanding of the project, unrealistic expectation of the project, and lack of an effective methodology
This article investigates the integrated methodology for BPR and Information system implementation based on BPR Planning, Information Strategy Planning (ISP), Analysis and Design (A/D) Phases. Tool, one of the components of the integrated methodology, provides the function of modeling which simplifies and represents the reality. This article also proposes the modeling tools which support the integrated methodology based on the structured analysis technique. The scope of the integrated methodology is broad it is not desirable for enterprises to use the all activities of the integrated methodology because the circumstance and characteristics of each enterprise and project is different. Therefore, A planning strategy for customizing the integrated methodology based on unique characteristics and circumstance of enterprises and projects is offered to assist in selecting the BPR and Information System implementation project
