The Korea standard language declares that the word 'file' in English is Koreanized into '파일' in Korean. However many Korean people sometimes get confused of spelling '파일' or '화일'. The reason is that '파일' and '화일' is very similar in pronunciation. Moreover if '파일' in Korean is Romanized, we may spell 'pile' or 'file'. For solving this problem, this study compared the pronunciation of English with that of Korean. Namely, comparing the pronunciation of English with that of Korean this study recommended spell of Korean that is similar to the pronunciation of English. For this, parameter that is extracted from the recorded voice numerically has to be evaluated statistically.
This study has the following step. First, record the voice of American and Korean. Next, extract the pure phoneme from the recorded voice. Third, extract the numerical parameter from the pure phoneme. Finally, compare each language with using MDS(multidimensional scaling) method that evaluates comparison of each object statistically.
The result has reported that each phoneme of English and Korean which has similar pronunciation located closely and 'ㅎ' in Korean located to the 'f' in English closely rather than 'ㅍ' in Korean.
