A heterodyne ECE~(Electron Cyclotron Emission) diagnostic system was developed for measuring the eletron temperature on Hanbit mirror plasma device. The integration and the operation test of the ECE heterodyne system was performed. The test was done utilizing an YIG source instead of the plasma signal in order to test performance of each component and the integrated system.
Prior to the installation of the system on Hanbit device, it was tested on KAIST-Tokamak. The ECE signals emitted from the plasma were obtained during the plasma current rising phase as the position of the emission layer was charged. The electron temperature will be obtained out of the measured ECE power as the mm-wave interferometer givers the electron density information which is currently under preparation.
