In this paper, we design and implement a human face modeling tool with which end users can generate a particular face model by deforming a generic face model intuitively and easily.
We classify the parameters of our system into two types. The high level parameters, which represent the face features, are controlled by end users and the low level parameters, which are MPEG-4 SNHC's face feature points and FFD control points, are used to control the deformation of a face model according to the high level parameters.
From the control of the high level parameters by end users, the value of the low level parameters are determined, and they resolve a particular face shape with the displacements of all face vertices.
The hierarchical structure of this system gives a lot of advantages such as the easy interface, extensibility, and so on.
