The rapid changes of managerial environment with a paradigm shift and the development of information technology made the rivalry between companies more intensive. Knowledge Management Projects that emerged under severe competition have provided some companies with remarkable competitive advantages. Lots of knowledge management efforts can be classified into different types of knowledge management.
This paper suggests three types of knowledge management development model : Stage Model, Dynamic Model, and Focus Model. These models are based on four success factors that were summarized by analyzing knowledge management framework. The four factors are organization factor, personnel factor, process factor, and information technology factor. Stage Model is a model that four factors are developed mutually supplementary and at the same degree. Dynamic Model is a model that selected factors are developed and then another factors are sequentially developed. And Focus Model is a model that selected factors are developed under the support of the other factors.
This paper represents that each factor for knowledge management is developed at different speed in cause of internal and external organization environment.
