Software process modeling approaches can be classfied into two categories according to the way of representing constituent elements of software process during the development of models. We can build separate models for each consituent element, or integrate all elements into a single model. While the approach of making seperate models for each elements can give multiple perspectives of software process, it may cause inconsistency among the models. On the other hand, while the approach of modeling every elements into a single model removes the inconsistency problem, it cannot produce multiple perspectives of software process. MAM nets, proposed from our reserach group in the past, a formal process modeling techniques is one of the integrated process modeling approaches.
In this paper, we propose an approach to generate multiple perpectives from software process modeled in MAM nets so that the entire process modeling approach based on MAM nets can take advantages of the two categories mentioned above. We also implemented the supporting PSEE, called SoftPM.
