This paper presents an efficient implementation of 2.4GHZ low power RF(Radio Frequency) Transceiver for MICROS( Micro Information and Commmunication Remote Objected Oriented System). The focus is the architecture of 2.4GHz RF Tranceiver to realize the low power consumption. Using the TDD communicaions, this thesis selects the same frequency in the transmitter and receiver. Therefore the proposed RF Transceiver consists of the only Mixer, IF Amp. and BPF(Band Pass Filter) excluding the LNA and PA(Power Amp.). Also the proposed PLL is composed of using the 290MHz VCO, frequency divider, and frequency multiplier to supply the LO( Local Oscillator) for the three Mixers(RF, second and third IF). But in practice, the hybrid raalization in PCB(Printed Circuit Board) is not suited in the proposed architecture. Therefore in this paper, PLL is implemented in the commercial PLL chip. The total current is 2.34[mA] , 2.15[mA], 22.43[mA] in the each transmitter, receiver, and PLL.
