The purpose of this study is to get the driving motor input which may produce desired trajectories of the elevator door.
Firstly, the dynamic model of elevator door mechanism was constructed along with the modeling of 3-phase induced motor. Secondly, to get the motion trajectories and torque of motor pulley, the dynamic simulation of the model was carried out by using ADAMS. Finally the optimum frequency input of the driving motor was obtained.
Experiments of the elevator door were executed to verify the dynamic simulation of the model with satisfactory results.
