Mergers and Acquisitions are happening around the world daily and the numbers of M&A are increasing. The main motivations of M&A are effectiveness and synergy effect.
This thesis was written on the M&A in Korean firms and a successful entrance of domestic commercial banks to the M&A market. Furthermore, an evaluation of merged firm and a desirable M&A in Korean M&A market were examined. To penetrate to Korean M&A market successfully, domestic banks should prepare themselves.
Current situation of domestic commercial bank is very hard. The purpose of this study is the introduction of the brokerage function of domestic commercial banks for high commission. As a good way of introduction of the brokerage function in the M&A to domestic commercial banks, three-step penetration way was proposed.
