The Impeller hub in an axial blower is the structure that connects rotor axis to the blades and the blade axes. The finite element analysis for the impeller hub under steady operation is conducted to estimate deformation and stress of the structure. Mechanical loading conditions including centrifugal force for the steady state are considered for the analysis, and cyclic symmetric condition is introduced for simplification of the modeling of the structure. The 8-node isoparametric solid elements and the 4-node degenerated shell elements with 6 degree of freedom are used for the analysis of the structure. In this research, automatic mesh generation program for the analysis and special purpose finite element analysis program for the impeller hub are developed. Moreover, design curves for the important design variables are presented.
