This thesis introduce Meta PLC simulator as PLC simulator generator, which use PLC specification language as PLC modelling method to generate PLC simulator.
In a industrial production system's point of view, high portion of product costs is induced by design and deployment of automated production system. So, a enhancement of design and deployment result in a decrease of the portion. Automated production system has hierarchical control structures. In automated production system, PLC is using as a controller of technical process. Technical process design consist of 4 phase. first, design process and verify control specification by simulation. second, implement a control program of PLC in PLC simulator and test the control program by simulation. third, test the control program with real PLC and technical process simulator. last, implement real technical process and PLC controller, and diagnose real process by on-line simulator.
Process model is well defined by DEVSim++, which is discrete event system simulation tool in C++ environment. and PLC simulator is easily realized by meta PLC simulator from PLC specificatin language. So, meta PLC simulator support many various type of PLC, generate PLC DEVS atomic model to build uniformly simulation framework.
The validation method of the generated PLC simulator is that PLC simulator only compare to real PLC with same condition in same environment.
