The main objectives of this thesis are i) to identify the evaluation model for military training centers(MTC), and to assess aplicability of the new model compared to current evaluation models for militany organizations, ii) to analyze differences in conception on the importance of indicators introduced in the new model according to the job characteristics and organizations of respondents and iii) to evaluate the overall performance of MTC using the perceived data.
Based on the review of general organizational effectiveness studies and school organization Effectiveness studies, a new evaluation model is proposed and relative importance of each indicator is empirically tested using ANOVA, t-test and $χ^2$-test.
Throughout the analysis, results and suggestions of this thesis are as follows:
First, in the developing an evaluation model for MTC, five evaluation factors are recommded such as; i) people's satisfaction, ii) organization management, iii) curricula management, iv) supporting system., v) linkage with constituency. compared to the evaluation models for general military organization, the new model is more systemetic and exhaustive.
Second, in Analyzing the differences in conception on the importance of indicates appeard in the evaluation model, the results show that respondents' conceptions are significantly different according to job-characteristics and MTC types.
In applying the new model in practice, two factors should be considerd such as ; i) the problem of weighs of indicators, and ii) the problem of building-up evaluators group. Because these two factors influence Evaluation indicators and Evaluation model.
Despite that this study proposes a new evaluation model for MTC, it has some shortcomings such as ; the lack of performance variables and limitations in generalizing results to other sisuations.
Futher research should be conducted in designing more concrete models, in building evaluator groups, in deciding weights of indicators, and in elaborating evaluation process and system.
